Downtown Indianapolis Indiana

Memorial Day is fast approaching and if you’re from Indiana, that means one thing…it’s race weekend! If you’re not from the Circle City, you may not know that the entire month of May is alllllllll about the Indianapolis 500 aka the greatest spectacle in racing. And if you’re a Hoosier like me, you know just how big this weekend is! A ton of fun events take place all month long and culminate with the big race on Sunday.

This is the first Memorial Day weekend in several years that I haven’t had to work and I’m really excited that I’ll be in town for the festivities! There is so much going on in Indy this weekend, so I thought I’d highlight a few events in case you’re still trying to make plans for the holiday weekend. Below are 12 ways to celebrate Memorial Day in Indy!
