Welcome to House of Wend your source for all things travel! My passion for travel was sparked early on by my first trip overseas to visit family and since then I have been to some pretty incredible places. I feel very fortunate to have seen so much of the world at my age.
My belief is that travel should challenge you so that you return a little different than when you left. Packing all your creature comforts from home and transporting them around the world is not what I consider true travel. Of course, luxury is lovely, and I enjoy it from time to time, but when I visit someplace new I want to really feel it and experience it in an authentic way.
I have come to realize that many people share my desire to explore the world, but aren’t able to live out their dreams for a myriad of reasons. Whether it’s financial restrictions, schedule constraints, family obligations, or simply being overwhelmed by the thought of planning and preparing for a trip. I understand all of that and I’m here to help!
